Puriton Parish Council Corporate Policy
The parish council's Corporate Policy is detailed below. The documents that make up the policy encompass the values and procedures of the council. To download a copy of any document please click its title link.
Each policy that makes up the Corporate Policy is amended from time to time as the Council requires. The Policy as a whole is reveiwed annually in May at the Annual Meeting of the Parish Council.
National rules require all parish councils to adopt a Code of Conduct and for its members to disclose certain interests. The Monitoring Officer of Sedgemoor District Council must establish and maintain the Council’s register of members’ interests. Remembrance Wreath - A wreath will be purchased annually by the Parish Council from the Royal Bristish Legion and placed at the memorial on Rye triangle. All wreaths displayed on the Rye memorial will be removed during the first week of January.
